‘If all Celebrants were Wiganer’s,
we’d probably be the best in the world’
Incase you didn’t pick up on it, I’m a proud Wiganer. At home I’m a family man nestled with my awesome crew—my wife Ashley and our two little legends, Ezra and Luca.
Now, when the wife gives me the green light, you’ll catch me enjoying a pint and perhaps a spiced rum or ten… who’s counting?
When I’m not conducting ceremony’s and hosting (which is my primary income), I’m entertaining as a DJ, which is more like a cheeky paid hobby really.
Anyway, If we rewind abit you’ll find my roots are in the hospitality industry. I spent over four years managing nightclubs for a company called ‘Goodfella’s Leisure.’ After I left goodfellas I went traveling around Australia for year. When I got back I went to work for ‘TRG’ which was home to brands like Frankie and Benny’s, Chiquito’s and Wagamama, here I got to know the ins and outs of the restaurant business.
Fast forward to 2013, and my story takes an interesting turn. I was poached by the ‘World of Wedding’s’. Since then, it’s been all about blending my hospitality know-how with the art of creating unforgettable wedding experiences.
So why am I ‘The Original Celebrant Host’?
It’s a BIG statement I know but I take pride in somewhat pioneering the fusion of being a Celebrant and a Wedding Host. Before 2020, this combination was unheard of especially in the North West, it’s then I stepped in to redefine that wedding experience.
With a background as a Celebrant and years of experience as a Wedding Host, I bring a wealth of knowledge on how to have the perfect day – with reviews to back it up. Both roles enable me to flawlessly execute and seamlessly combine these essential aspects of your celebration.
Being your Celebrant to start with allows me to personalise your day from ‘I Do’, we then carry this through the entire wedding, this allows me to truly take things to the next level.
It’s my hope that by the time your day comes around I’ll feel like I’ve known you for years and by the end of it I can call you a friend.
